Richard Conway BSc (Hons)
Richard is Pure SEO's Managing Director. Richard originally comes from Hertfordshire, UK, and is 34 years old. He has a BSc (Hons) in Business Computing and is both a husband (to Emily) and a ‘fresh out of the box’ dad to Ethan Max (born in January 2011). Together with his wife Emily, Richard discovered New Zealand in 2002 and fell in love with the landscape and its people. A few years later (in 2009, to be exact) he and Emily moved to Auckland to start a new life and family together
Richard has been all over the world. His top five destinations have been; Borneo, India, Laos, Thailand and Senegal. Richard loves living in New Zealand - For him, the Tongariro Crossing holds a special place in his heart.
Richard loves putting himself out there: Even though he’s scared of heights, he has done bungee jumping, stunt flying, abseiling and canopy walks – in other words, Richard isn’t afraid of getting out of his comfort zone. And apart from being crazy about SEO and SEM (which he has been working with for the past decade) Richard's work history is based around working as a venture analyst for a niche venture capital company, and as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Oh, and just one last thing (I know what you’re thinking...how could he get more interesting than this?) he loves networking and is a resident at The Icehouse and a member of EO Ignition, BNI and the Auckland Rotary Club.
Rattandeep Singh
The hard-working, link-building pro is Pure SEO's Senior SEO/SEM Consultant Rattandeep Singh (We simply call him Rattan). Rattan is originally from Punjab, Northern India (did you know that Punjab has been recognised as the best Indian state from 2003 onwards?) and speaks three languages: English, Punjabi and Hindi (his name means ‘gem’ in Punjabi). He has a Graduate Diploma in Business from Northtec (located in Whangarei, New Zealand).
Rattan has been working in the online marketing industry for three years now – his strengths include (but are not limited to) SEO analysis and implementation, link-building, Google AdWords (SEM) and Analytics. Prior to becoming Pure SEO’s Senior Consultant, he worked as a freelancer in the field, managing SEO and link-building projects for clients and SEO companies from the US and the UK. During his time at Northtec, Rattan specialised in Business Management Studies (organisational management, organisational communication, leadership studies, strategic management, business communication and management of triple bottom line).
When Rattan isn’t reading books on leadership, business, motivation and SEO/SEM, he likes to get wet and wild on the glittering coastlines of New Zealand. So if you see an Indian guy on a jetski or in a kayak, it may very well be him! But when the sun isn’t shining and the water is too cold, Rattan likes to play badminton and soccer with his mates.

Emilie Jäfvert
Emilie Jäfvert is from Stockholm, Sweden. She currently works as a marketing assistant, managing the social media at PureSEO. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Emilie decided to broaden her view and go as far from Sweden as possible (even though Sweden is one hell of a country!) which eventually led her to Auckland, where everything is upside-down and inside-out - Cars drive on the left-hand side, winter is summer, and there’s isn't an IKEA or H&M store in sight. Although she hasn’t been in New Zealand for very long, Emilie already loves the nature and people of New Zealand. She hopes that one day she’ll be a Kiwi as well.
Besides being really passionate about internet marketing, Emilie loves to travel. As a matter of fact, she's already travelled through to six continents in all of her 22 years on Earth! When money’s tight, Emilie likes to go shopping, listen to ABBA and hang out with her friends. (She’s also a sucker for puppies and all sorts of sweets - we probably shouldn't have made that public...)

Penny Gardner
Penny, or Ms. Penelope Gardner works as a wordsmith at PureSEO. She has a BA in History and English, in addition to a Diploma in Proofreading and Copyediting. She’s 100% Kiwi - born and raised in the Bay of Plenty - now living on the beautiful island of Waiheke, just outside of Auckland. She also loves to travel. During her 64 years on Planet Earth, she has been all over the world. When she isn’t globetrotting around the world she loves a good book, catching a flick, going for walks or yoga-ing (preferably at sunrise) Disclaimer: We're not sure if yoga qualifies as a verb
Here at the office we suspect that Penny lived somewhat of a high life at some point during the 60-70’s. Why? Well, she starred in the movie ‘Downhill Racer’ in 1969, with (then) hottie Robert Redford. The movie was set in Switzerland, and at one point Penny babysat the Redfords' children(!).
Kirstin Bosch
Operations manager Kirstin is born and breed in New Zealand, growing up in West Auckland. She is a busy mum of two awesome boys (2 & 12 yrs old), when not in the office.
Kirstin comes from an office administrative background working for a variety of different companies, such as manufacturing of conveyors belts for airports to importing of men’s trousers. She also has a certificate in travel studies & chef’s qualifications, which she gained while travelling overseas in late teens and her twenties.
What Kirstin likes to do in her spare time (which isn’t much) is running. She also has a passion for triathlons, which is where she met her super fit husband.
